Spent the weekend at Whitestone Lake Ski Club outside of Jasper Ga getting reacquainted with some old friends. Also tried out my new plug in from NIK, and am learning what it can do for me. I really like those pics, hope all the skiers like them too. Have gotten some great feedback. Also remembered that it is a small world. A fellow photographer that I have bumped into at a couple of events, we figured out that we knew each other way back 25 years ago. Cool Stuff. You can see his stuff at www.UCanSki2.com.

Spring Has SprungTime to spread the pollen ... caught this bee flying around the Sweet Magnolia Blossoms the other day. It was so interested in the pollen that it completely ignored me. Shot with a D7000, Nikon 35mm DX lens.

This photo was taken with a D7000 and Nikon 35mm DX. The bee was so focused on gathering pollen from the Sweet Magnolia Blossom that it completely ignored me.

It was late in the day and instead of shooting with my normal 70-200 Nikon F2.8, I chose to use the 35mm Nikon DX F1.8 fixed lens. The sun went down behind the trees. This was shot at Spruce Creek High School, as Seminole High School visited them.
